MEET TOM

Tom began skiing just aged three, and since that first snowplough it’s become his passion…

Raised in a skiing-obsessed family (his Dad Dave is a ski instructor and so are brothers Will and Sam), it was inevitable that he would make skiing his career.

But after a few winters teaching he went back to University to study Sports Science at Exeter University. And now, armed with three years worth of insights into sports psychology, physiology and biomechanics, he’s back teaching with us in Verbier.

When not teaching you’ll find Tom exploring the mountains, enjoying some off-piste skiing and also ski touring. His love of exploring means he knows Verbier and the surrounding valleys inside out.

Off the snow, he loves the water – particularly surfing and windsurfing. So he spends a huge amount of time in the summers in a wet suit. He’s also a very keen tennis player and has competed all over the country both in junior and University level.
