MEET FRANCISCA
Francisca grew up skiing in the Andes and went on to compete in Ski Cross. So it was a natural step for her to move into coaching and ski teaching — especially with children and young athletes.
She loves helping clients build confidence, find their rhythm on the mountain and enjoy every step of their progression.
She has spent a number of years skiing in teh Southern and Northern hemispheres – splitting her time teaching and coaching in Chile, the United States (Aspen Snowmass and Beaver Creek) and Switzerland.
So her lifestyle is all about chasing winter — she loves learning from each resort, exploring the outdoors and connecting with people through skiing.
And we’re delighted to have her experience, skills and southern-hemisphere energy with us in Verbier!

SOME LOCAL KNOWLEDGE:
WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE MOUNTAIN RESTAURANT?
“It’s hard to choose, but I think it has to be Dahu. Amazing pizzas but something for everyone and stunning views.”
WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE SKI AREA?
“Savoleyres is great teaching terrain. And the new lift means you can lap the Verbier side for sunny warm up runs on the stade.”
WHERE’S YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE FOR APRES?
“Go to the Pub for locals and happy hour. But Farinet Apres is amazing fun too!”
WHAT’S YOUR BEST TIP FOR A HOLIDAY IN VERBIER?
“Enjoy the terrain but make sure you know where you’re going! We’ve got a huge range of slopes but get the wrong lift and you could be at the top of some really steep pistes and the legendary itinerary runs – so always check the piste map and aim for the terrain that suits you best.”
