Verbier off piste backcountry Women's Camps

Backcountry skiing with the experts

Verbier is rightly famous for its freeride terrain, and to help you get to grips with going further afield we have a unique package that combines the mountain knowledge of a female UIAGM Guide and the expert ski teaching skills of a top qualified female ski instructor.

It’s a combination that brings you the best of both worlds – you get to explore the terrain that only a guide can take you to, and you get the expert technical feedback from a top qualified ski instructor.

What’s the package?

This amazing weekend camp will be run by Emma Cairns (BASI Level 4 and examiner, and Swiss Brevet Federal) and Caroline George (fully qualified and hugely experienced Mountain Guide).

You’ll ski full days for both days, and get feedback on your technical and tactical skiing in the backcountry while you’re exploring the mountains. There are just two dates for these camps and only six places in each camp.

What’s the level?

To in the camp we require the following: You are an all-mountain skier looking to experience an adventure, learn more about the mountains and improve your technical skiing. You feel comfortable skiing off-piste in a variety of conditions including some steep terrain.

The course will cover an introduction to ski touring and avalanche training. Either to introduce new skills or help you develop your existing ones. (Avalanche kit is required for this camp).
